Overview
Leads a small SCM team of Software Configuration Analysts responsible for the definition, planning and management of SCM activies. Participates in the management of the process for developing and maintaining SCM systems. Defines, implements and improves upon SCM environments. Trains staff in monitoring software and systems defects. Ensures product migrations through all systems environments as per SCM processes. Ensures that the day-to-day SCM tasks are carried out appropriately and may recommend improvements when appropriate. Interacts directly with clients regarding project activities as appropriate. Trains staff in technical tools and skills, as well as specific applications and their business functions to maximize their contribution to the team. Allocates and coordinates work within a small SCM team, contributes to the achievement of team objectives. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree is preferred, 6+ years of experience in a systems SCM environment, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus..
